Safety Information

Group travel

Our trips are organised as group experiences for travellers aged 18–25. Travelling as a group means you can explore destinations alongside other members of your group rather than having to manage the entire trip alone.

Trips are supported by tour guides and trip directors who help travellers follow the itinerary, provide information about destinations and activities, and assist with general questions during the trip.

Travellers should follow the instructions provided by tour guides, trip directors and activity providers, particularly where safety is concerned.

Planned itineraries

Trips have planned accommodation, transportation and activities so travellers know what is included and what is planned throughout the itinerary. Important travel details are provided before departure.

Your responsibility

Travellers should follow the itinerary, respect local laws and regulations, follow instructions from trip staff and take reasonable care of themselves and their belongings.

Some activities may involve additional risks. Always follow safety instructions provided by activity providers and let the trip organisers know about any relevant requirements or concerns before participating.

Before you travel

Check the latest travel advice, entry requirements and local safety information for every country on your itinerary before departure. We also recommend having appropriate travel insurance for your trip.

In an emergency

In an emergency, contact the local emergency services first where appropriate. Trip staff can assist with reasonable guidance and support during the trip, but travellers remain responsible for following local emergency procedures and instructions from the relevant authorities.
